June mailing - Club Book, Reach etc
We have just posted a mailing with the Club Book, the June issue of Gravesend Reach, an important letter from the Commodore and a reminder of forthcoming social events.

Apologies for the delay with the Club Book. There were some quite major problems aligning contradictory data from a number of different sources. This also showed some gaps in our tracking of membership subscriptions. Now we have the data in good shape, the task should be easier and quicker next year.

It all went out second class on Tuesday afternoon, so you should receive it by the Solstice. If you don't - please get in contact; there are some members for whom we don't have valid addresses - you might be one of them!

Gravesend Sea Cadet Corps
Gravesend Sea Cadet Corps became affiliated members of Gravesend Sailing Club in April 2008.
Signing the Agreement
Although an informal arrangement had been in place for the past year, the arrangement was finally made official. In the photo, the cadets watch Commodore Penny Davies and Sea Cadet Chairman Ian Dunkley sign the agreement.

This is the first instance of affiliated membership, but the club would be pleased to consider applications from other appropriate organisations.
